Is your handrail real barrier-free??

Today, we can easily find lots of handrails everywhere and they look as if they completely support people. However, is it true? Do you know what the people who really need handrails think about it? Have you imagined some handrails are useless for disability people actually? Do you know some people get into the danger although they use handrails?

Most of people don't care these issues because they don't usually use handrails, but today aging problem gets more serious thus these issues have to come up.

Then, unlike the conventional handrails, the Japanese special handrail "J-WAYVES" can completely support everyone and prevent accidents as much as possible!!

The Japanese waves bridge between ways and people!!

The name of "J-WAYVES" derives from our main concept "The Japanese waves bridge between ways and people".

The Japanese waves means wavy design consisting the horizontal part and the vertical part. The former is to sustain the weight safely and the vertical part is to pull bodies easily, so the unique design can support people gently and safely and more people can walk more ways!!

Work as a staff when you go down!!
Work as a support during walking down!!
Work as a handle during walking up!!

Dramatically reduce impact on knees!!

The wavy design sharply decreases the moment on knees (Reduction to about 1/3). Thus, it is possible to reduce tiredness of walkers!!

Lots of walkers demand the design!!

Everywhere, we can find lots of people who demand barrier-free, old people, handicappers and pregnant women, etc.. Of course, when the steps on staircases are wet and slippery, the design helps even healthy people, too.

International patent pending

We own the patent of the wavy design in Japan and the international patent has been pending in order to extend J-WAYVES to all over the world!!

In addition QUNETTO (Japanese name of J-WAYVES) has received a prize of Good Design.
